Very nice coaster!
Awesome even to present day roller coaster standards. Nice dives, high speed (55 mph) and a long ride (2 minutes). The ratteling wood really adds to the sensation. The bounces when cornering are thrilling as well. We went in the morning when the row was still short.
Goood ole wooden rollercoaster! This was a fun ride! (Little pricey) but worth it! The dark tunnel at first was unexpected but nonetheless fun! The coaster does get a good decent amount speed and moves you around a bit! I sat in the very front cart and we have two other groups on the ride so it felt like we were alone! I will definitely come back and ride again soon!
If you come to San Diego you MUST go to Belmont park for the beach and boardwalk experience. And if you like roller coasters the Giant Dipper is fun for all ages. Not too crazy. Belmont Park in general is a fun place for families to go for a day out.
Open again, April 2021! 7 tickets ($1 each) for this miraculous survivor! Rows skipped between groups. Weekdays highly recommended, you'll still wait in line for tickets even if you "bought online", but who cares, it's open!
Pretty fun here, some places are great since some other places closed in other parts of San Diego. This place has always been a jumping spot to hang. And take it easy and water every where to enjoy. Beer, fun rides. Places to eat, coffee was pretty bomb. Little store there, its the spot to show off skate skills on the board walk!!! Have fun, I am.
Did you know that the song Rock Lobster by the B52's is actually a palindrome? It literally sounds exactly the same whether you play it forward or backward. That guy Fred Schneider from the band came up with the idea when he was recovering …
The crowds are really picking up and you can tell that Covid is winding down. The shops are fun and most importantly you can do some good people watching. Good snacks and drinks and it's a fun time all around.
Such a old roller coaster I went on it 15 years a go and all I remember my back hurting . I went at it again yesterday and hurt by neck real bad . Just be careful if you don’t want to have any type of injury. Didn’t have fun at all … is not smooth at all, supper bumpy!
The roller coaster is soooo fun! It is one of my favorite roller coasters. It’s an older wooden one that doesn’t look very daunting at first. It is a little jarring and legit scary! I don’t recommend riding it if you have any injuries or …
